SINCEREFIRST
This 1.5mm 0.16MP OVM6946 CMOS Sensor Separate Endoscope Camera Module Series, is specifically designed for close-range microscopic observation in narrow spaces. Built on a hardware foundation of a 1/18-inch image sensor and an ultra-wide-angle micro lens, the modules achieve stable image acquisition even in confined areas. With an ultra-micro diameter of only 1.5mm, they break through the spatial limitations of conventional probes, easily accessing microcatheters, microholes, extremely narrow gaps and other areas that are inaccessible to regular equipment, thereby greatly improving detection accessibility. Meanwhile, the 120° diagonal field of view (87.5° horizontal) and 5–50mm macro focusing range are perfectly adapted to close-range observation needs, ensuring large-area, dead-angle-free and clear image capture in limited spaces. Equipped with a USB2.0 interface and UVC plug-and-play functionality, the modules eliminate the need for additional drivers, significantly lowering the threshold for device integration. The series includes two sub-models: Straight View Lens and Side View Lens (SF-C16USB-D1.5-Side), both maintaining consistent core imaging parameters such as resolution (400×400 pixels), frame rate (30fps), signal-to-noise ratio (>36.8dB), dynamic range (65.8dB @ 4x gain), sensitivity (1000 mV/Lux-sec), aperture (F5.0) and TV distortion (<-11% @ 0.95Field). They only differ in structure and installation method to meet diverse device integration requirements. Specifically, the Side View model adopts a lateral light-emitting imaging structure, enabling direct observation of tube walls, cavity sidewalls and vertical surfaces without bending the probe, further expanding the adaptability of detection scenarios. The entire series supports stable operation in a wide temperature range of -20°C ~ 70°C, with a stable image temperature range of 0°C ~ 50°C, allowing continuous operation in complex industrial environments. With a low power consumption of approximately 0.6W (without LED), it is perfectly suitable for the energy requirements of portable and battery-powered endoscope devices, achieving an ideal balance of miniaturization, high adaptability and high stability. Additionally, the modules are equipped with an IR band-pass filter with a 50% cut-off at 665±10nm, and the minimum illuminance is 0 lux when the LED is turned on (if equipped). The main board size of SF-C16USB-D1.5-Side is 45×14mm with a side welding height of 2.2mm and an optional cable length of 2.2 meters, while the camera size of the straight view model can be 1.05×1.05×5.0mm (without steel housing) or D2.0×6.0mm (with optional steel housing), with an optional 2-meter cable and a main board size of 50×24mm. |

The endoscope camera module collects the internal image through the front optical lens, converts it into electrical signal by CMOS or CCD sensor, and then optimizes it through image processing chip for noise reduction and enhancement, and finally outputs high-definition video signal. Some modules support wireless transmission or fiber optic signal transmission, suitable for medical or industrial inspection scenarios.
2.Are there any differences in imaging performance between the two modules?
The two modules share identical optical parameters, pixel specifications, and frame rate, resulting in consistent imaging performance. Differences are limited to mounting structure and physical dimensions.3.Can the product series be used in complete darkness?
Neither model is equipped with a built-in LED light source. External illumination is required for clear imaging in zero‑lux environments.4.What mounting and connection methods are suitable for the two products?
The SF‑C16USB‑D1.5 uses standard vertical soldering and a Micro USB interface. The SF‑C16USB‑D1.5‑Side features a side‑soldering, ultra‑slim design intended for integration with restricted vertical clearance.5. What is the minimum effective working distance of the module series?
Both modules have a depth of field range of 5–50 mm, with a minimum effective working distance of 5 mm.
